Telnyx - Senior Software Engineer (Python)

• 5+ years of professional Python experience, with strong async programming (aiohttp, asyncpg, FastAPI). • Airflow production experience — you've built and maintained complex DAGs, not just run them. • SQL fluency across PostgreSQL and analytical databases (Athena, BigQuery, or similar). • Comfort working with financial and pricing data (margins, markups, cost basis, currency). • Ability to read and debug Java services when needed. • CI/CD experience with Docker, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. • Strong troubleshooting skills — you can dig through logs, query databases, and trace data pipelines to find the root cause of a discrepancy. • Comfortable owning services and pipelines in production, including on-call responsibilities and incident resolution. • Comfortable using AI coding agents as part of your investigation workflow, while knowing when to rely on your own judgement. • Telecom or CPaaS background (CDRs, termination rates, origination prefixes). • Salesforce or CRM integration experience. • Experience with pricing engines or billing systems. • You take a thoughtful approach to decision making, knowing when to move fast and when to optimise for the long term. • You want to work in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. • You keep up to date with the latest technologies and patterns, and enjoy sharing what you've learned. • #LI-IRELAND • #LI-AMSTERDAM
