Raya - Product Designer, Places

• Minimum 2–4 years of product or UI/UX design experience with exposure to design systems and component-based design. • Fluency in Figma and comfort working with libraries, variants, and structured design files. • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a methodical approach to problem solving. • Ability to translate requirements into clean, accurate design specs for engineering. • A portfolio that demonstrates UI craft, design systems work, and a clear understanding of scalable design patterns. • Degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent experience. • Strong Candidates May Have • Experience maintaining or contributing to robust design systems. • A strong sense of structure and organization, keeping libraries tidy, documented, and easy for the team to use. • A proactive approach to refinement. • Comfort collaborating closely with engineering, ensuring components behave as intended across devices and screen sizes. • A desire to help scale design, supporting smoother workflows, faster shipping, and more coherent product experiences. • Design systems are a core foundation for our speed, quality, and consistency as a team. In this role, you’ll directly influence how quickly we can build, how cohesively we can design, and how accurately the product reflects our design intent — while playing a meaningful role in shaping the evolution of both Raya and Places.
