Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in electromechanical assembly, or low-rate production of complex systems. • Proven ability to work with electromechanical systems—ideally in robotics, aerospace, or automotive. • Strong attention to detail and a deep sense of build quality and safety. • Ability to read CAD, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams. • Hands-on experience with common tools, fixtures, soldering, torqueing, etc. • You move fast, stay organized, and take pride in solving problems in real time. • Comfortable working in a fluid, high-urgency environment with evolving designs and short timelines.

Responsibilities

• Start: September 2026 • Build electro-mechanical assemblies according to CAD, drawings, and work instructions. • Perform precise mechanical assembly using standard hand tools, adhesive applicators, crimp tools, torque wrenches, and labellers. • Route complex harnesses according to instructions provided, labelling and securing as defined. • Apply and record serial numbers to tracked assets • Testing of assemblies using jigs, fixtures, electrical test equipment, and compute devices • Document findings and the results of tests • Culture and Quality • Adopt and support the team culture to drive collaboration and morale • Treat the tools and equipment with respect, maintaining them as necessary and reporting faults and damage • Engage in ongoing and regular activities to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop • Be a High-Speed Collaborator • Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow technicians, engineers, and leadership. • Adapt quickly to changing priorities—jump in wherever help is needed. • Contribute ideas to improve the speed, reliability, and quality of builds.

Benefits

• Meaningful time off to rest and recharge: 23 days of annual leave (accrued), 15 days of paid sick leave, and paid company holidays. • Fully funded private healthcare for UK employees, with broad provider access, virtual and in‑person care, and strong mental health and serious illness support. • Equity included–we believe builders should share in what they build. • Pension scheme with a total 8% contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings. • Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in‑office. • Collaboration with top‑tier engineers, researchers, and product experts in AI and robotics. • Freedom to influence the product and own key initiatives.
