Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Certification of Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant in California (CNA) preferred • Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing personal care to seniors • Must be willing and have the ability to safely drive to and from participant escort assignment locations, including but not limited to medical and care appointments in the program service area. • CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire • Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred • We are seeking Personal Care Assistants that are looking to start their career in the healthcare space. Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to WelbeHealth participants, including but not limited to assisting with escorting, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry, and physical lifting when transferring participants • Measure and document participants’ vital signs as instructed • Act as a medical escort when needed, assisting participants with boarding and exiting WelbeHealth transportation vehicles • Oversee activity on the day center floor to assure participant safety • Assist with meal service, ensuring participants receive the correct meals, as well as assist with feeding when needed • Maintain personal care supplies such as incontinence supplies and grooming items
