Requirements

• Able to use a multimeter to troubleshoot a low-voltage DC system • Experience assembling or repairing mechanical and electrical components • Experience and desire to research and resolve technical issues utilizing manuals or other training materials • Be able to determine definitively the difference between a component or configuration issue

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues using voltage, current, temperature, and relay-state charts • Provide phone support for field technicians and partners • Assist field technicians in overcoming mechanical issues during an installation or repair • Provide a detailed report of replacement parts needed for repairs • Document all interactions with field technicians accurately and completely • Maximize your effectiveness by resolving a high percentage of incoming requests, only escalating when necessary
