Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology Discipline. • Experience of at least four years but no more than six years in IT program or project management role. • Preferred experience leading a team with focus on Continuous Improvement and/or Industrial Engineering. • Experience required with procurement, design, build, support for mechanical and automation systems including technology integrations (e.g., HighJump WMS). • Solid subject matter expertise using SanMar specific distribution system technologies is preferred but not mandatory as it's stated that experience in these areas would be an asset rather than a requirement.
Responsibilities
• Supervise project team and their deliverables. • Provide day to day direction and insight for meeting goals and deadlines. • Coach and develop the project team in terms of individual growth and business expectations. • Manage a portfolio of tasks and projects related to Material Handling systems, Hardware/Media management, and Storage initiatives. • Research, analyze, and troubleshoot SanMar handling systems understanding their operation and dependencies. • Identify and develop resource information for disaster response, strategic computing, security control etc. • Translate business requirements into high performing solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders while ensuring best operational practices are followed. • Create detailed project plans to ensure team members are meeting milestones and reporting status regularly. • Provide distribution system subject matter expertise to various areas within SanMar, including end users when necessary. • Work with Technical/Delivery teams in identifying changes needed for the environment systems ensuring alignment with functional requirements. • Collaborate closely with Distribution leadership and primary resources on strategic focus determination, task prioritization, and long-term portfolio management decisions. • Perform other duties as assigned by SanMar's business areas or IT department leaders. • Comply with all company policies and standards related to work practices and project execution.
Benefits
• Salary Range: You`ll earn between $120,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experience. • Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. • Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.
