Requirements

Responsibilities
• Lead and grow a senior engineering manager team across AI and AI Platform teams at Monarch. Provide mentorship, direct feedback, and create growth opportunities for the team that values autonomy and impact. • Set technical direction by partnering with Product, Design, and Infrastructure to shape the AI roadmap, make architectural decisions, ensure scalability of systems built. • Deliver high-quality AI initiatives across Monarch's product lineup through robust evaluation methods, ensuring reliability for users. Own delivery responsibility includes scoping projects with Product and Design teams to maintain confidence in shipped features. • Build cross-functional partnerships by collaborating closely with Infrastructure on platform needs, aligning AI strategy discussions across the organization's leadership team, including representation of AI teams within Monarch as a fully remote company that operates synchronously from 9 AM – 2 PM PT. • Hire thoughtfully to grow and strengthen the engineering manager team by identifying great talent through effective interviewing processes and making hiring decisions aligned with enhancing culture and capabilities of the AI teams at Monarch.
