Requirements
• 2-5+ years financial services sector experience in FX (i.e., understanding of financial markets and their instruments, such as SPOT, FWDS, Derivatives) or payments (i.e., understanding of Payments & technology market) • B2B sales experience • Experience in consultative selling, corporate negotiations, and customer acquisition (including networking events, trade fairs, cold calling, etc.) • Strong understanding of bulk payment processing, international payments, accounting systems, and platform integration • Financially astute and proven ability to achieve or exceed KPIs and revenue targets • Ability to work both independently and within a fast-paced team environment • Fluent in English (oral and written), as all internal communication is in English • Foreign Exchange (FX) knowledge preferred, especially with payments, risk management, and/or hedging solutions • You must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for this role. • Convera is a global leader in commercial payments that powers international business by moving money with ease. Responsibilities
• Drive sales of complex products and hedging solutions within the Singapore office for APAC market support • Build a pipeline of Corporate clients by leveraging deep understanding of Convera’s value proposition to address their international payments and hedging needs • Achieve KPI's such as revenue setting targets, report them on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for new business through payment and hedging solutions mix • Seek out new business opportunities proactively via cold calls, networking events, referrals, exhibitions, partnerships • Manage the sales cycle up to client onboarding before transitioning clients to a dedicated team • Introduce relevant support functions such as CRM and CHM/Sales Leaders for corporate accounts • Influence various levels of business owners within targeted organizations (start-up, directors, C-suite executives) • Maintain documentation in SFDC records like sales diary or prospect’s next steps • Perform market analysis and attend industry events to stay informed on the sector
