Requirements
• You ll help us develop insights and partnerships across Product and Engineering to accelerate team goals and optimize R&D spend.In this role, you ll:Be a strategic thought partner to the business by utilizing your financial acumen to analyze results, trends, and key insightsIdentify and solve complex business problems through data driven analysis and storytellingOwn cloud infrastructure financial management, partnering with Engineering to track cloud spend, identify optimization opportunities, and drive savings initiativesCollaborate with and influence cross functional, global teams to achieve objectivesProactively identify opportunities for change, process improvement, and system enhancements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance organizationManage and execute ad hoc projects while maintaining day to day operationsWe are looking for candidates who have/are:5+ years of experience in strategic finance business partnering, FP&A, or investment bankingExcellent financial modeling skills, including the ability to work with large data setsExperience managing cloud, including analyzing usage trends, identifying savings levers, and partnering with technical teams to implement optimization initiativesProven ability to scale manual processes into automated onesProven ability to work cross functionally by building relationships and influencing othersBias for action and enthusiasm for solving problemsSelf-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environmentNice to have experience:Familiarity with blockchain technologyExperience with Adaptive and NetSuiteExperience with BI tools like Tableau and data warehouses like Snowflake or DatabricksPrevious experience in a B2B, enterprise SaaS environmentAbout ChainalysisBlockchain technology is powering a growing wave of innovation. • We provide complete knowledge of what s happening on blockchains through our data, services, and solutions. • If you need any accommodations to make our interview process more accessible to you due to a disability, don t hesitate to let us know.
Responsibilities
• Be a strategic thought partner to the business by utilizing your financial acumen to analyze results, trends, and key insights • Identify and solve complex business problems through data driven analysis and storytelling • Own cloud infrastructure financial management, partnering with Engineering to track cloud spend, identify optimization opportunities, and drive savings initiatives • Collaborate with and influence cross functional, global teams to achieve objectives • Proactively identify opportunities for change, process improvement, and system enhancements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance organization • Manage and execute ad hoc projects while maintaining day to day operations • We are looking for candidates who have/are: • 5+ years of experience in strategic finance business partnering, FP&A, or investment banking • Excellent financial modeling skills, including the ability to work with large data sets • Experience managing cloud, including analyzing usage trends, identifying savings levers, and partnering with technical teams to implement optimization initiatives • Proven ability to scale manual processes into automated ones • Proven ability to work cross functionally by building relationships and influencing others • Bias for action and enthusiasm for solving problems • Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
