Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field. • Experience within life sciences, CRO, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or professional services environments. • 7+ years of experience in R&D tax credits, government incentives, grants, finance, analytics, consulting, or related disciplines. • Demonstrated experience managing complex global programs involving multiple stakeholders. • Strong financial analysis, business analysis, and project management skills. • Experience working with international business teams and external advisors. • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency. • Ability to communicate complex technical and financial concepts to non-technical audiences. • Preferred Education & Experience (optional): • MBA, CPA, MST, PMP, PhD, or equivalent advanced qualification. • Experience with international R&D incentive programs, grants, and innovation funding mechanisms. • Experience with Power BI, data visualization, and business intelligence platforms. • Experience supporting data governance, analytics, or business transformation initiatives. • Or equivalent combination of education, professional training and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen. • Exceptional organizational and project management skills. • Ability to influence without direct authority. • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently. • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence. • #LI-KH1 #LI-Remote • Any data provided as a part of this application will be stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Responsibilities
• Global R&D Tax Credit Program Ownership • Own Precision's global R&D tax credit program and related innovation incentive initiatives. • Develop and execute annual filing strategies and compliance plans across all participating countries. • Partner with business leaders to identify qualifying R&D activities and maximize eligible claims. • Coordinate documentation, financial support, technical narratives, and advisor deliverables. • Manage external tax advisors, consultants, auditors, and government agencies. • Lead responses to tax authority reviews, audits, and information requests. • Track legislative and regulatory developments impacting available incentives. • Maintain governance, documentation standards, controls, and audit readiness. • Global Expansion & Strategy • Identify and evaluate new country opportunities for R&D tax incentives, grants, and innovation funding programs. • Develop business cases supporting expansion into new jurisdictions. • Build scalable processes, templates, and governance structures to support global growth. • Partner with regional finance and operational leaders to launch and manage new programs. • Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership regarding incentive opportunities and risks. • Financial Analysis & Business Intelligence • Develop KPI frameworks and reporting to measure program effectiveness and financial impact. • Partner with data and analytics teams to automate reporting and improve data quality. • Perform financial modeling, forecasting, and benefit realization analysis. • Create executive-level dashboards and presentations supporting decision making. • Identify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiencies. • Business Analytics & Transformation Initiatives • Support cross-functional projects involving analytics, reporting, master data, process improvement, automation, and operational excellence. • Partner with Finance, IT, HR, Clinical Operations, and Business Operations teams on enterprise initiatives. • Support development of self-service reporting and KPI governance frameworks. • Contribute to broader Finance and Analytics transformation efforts across Precision.
