Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor working in DevOps/Cloud Operations, preferably within SaaS or technology-driven organizations. • Experience writing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation Templates, CDK, etc. • Experience with Relational Databases such as MySQL, Postgres, etc. • Alternative datastores such as OpenSearch, Redshift, etc. are a major plus. • Strong understanding of web development frameworks and architectures. • Strong understanding of containerization; Kubernetes a plus. • Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services; Amazon GovCloud a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. • Must pass FBI fingerprint and background check in multiple states • Experience with CJIS compliance is highly preferred. • Background in public safety, emergency communications, or related fields. • Familiarity with AI-driven platforms and their security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Operations Process: • Produce clear diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans for our operational systems / processes. • Follow company architectural guidelines and industry best practices when developing operations frameworks / systems. • Ability to automation that can build and deliver software artifacts. • Ability to write Infrastructure as Code to support our environment. • Ability to develop monitors, alerts, and on-call solutions to ensure we are responsive to customer issues. • Collaboration and Support: • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including support and customer success. • Providing consistent and meaningful progress and performance updates to senior management and the Executive Leadership Team.
