Requirements
• Direct software sales experience of at least 15+ years. • Proven track record in selling both on-premise and cloud-based solutions into large enterprises as well as SaaS companies. • Demonstrated experience working with key verticals: online retail, e-commerce, ad-tech, gaming, and financial services. • Significant experience in selling to the infrastructure space (OS, JVM, Container). • Confidence in partnering closely with a Technical Sales Engineer for product demonstrations requiring technical POCs. • Experience selling enterprise products based on Java-based Open Source technology highly desired by customers. • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategies to generate new Prime business opportunities. • Achieve sales targets within assigned territories/accounts. • Actively engage with existing Platform Core customers for their unique challenges and needs. • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to close, maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities. • Build a 3X pipeline as part of Sales Pipeline Management. • Work closely with Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success teams for comprehensive product demonstrations and proposals. • Drive contract negotiations consistently on monthly and quarterly bases. • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, progress, and outcomes in Salesforce as part of Reporting duties.
