rerun - Forward Deployed Engineer
Requirements
• A technical foundation in either Robotics, ML, data engineering, or databases. You are credible with engineers, comfortable in real codebases. • Working Python: you can read, iterate on, and extend existing code and get a POC over the line. • Genuine interest in robotics, spatial AI, or computer vision; hands-on exposure is a real plus • High agency, and genuinely driven by solving customer problems. Technical and real beats charismatic salesperson. • Comfortable with 30% travel • HOW WE WORK AT RERUN • We're a remote company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. • We meet up in person for a week roughly once a quarter • The team you'll join has members in European and US timezones • We've put together an uncommonly talented tech team, value agency and helpfulness highly, and expect everyone to take broad responsibility for what they build • We offer competitive cash and equity compensation, six weeks paid vacation, and whatever hardware and software you need to do your job
Responsibilities
• Run technical discovery and scope solutions for customer problems • Solve hard data and infrastructure problems inside customers' production environments • Feed recurring issues, patterns, and product gaps back to Rerun's engineering and product teams • Coordinate work across Rerun and the customer to keep deployments moving • Backgrounds we're looking for • We care about a strong technical foundation and genuine customer curiosity far more than a job title. You likely come from one of these backgrounds: • Data engineering / data platform engineering. You've built pipelines and worked with large-scale data. • Infrastructure / platform engineering. Solid systems background, plus real curiosity about the product and the customer, not just the infrastructure. • Software engineering with substantial data work. You've spent real time close to data, not just application code.
