Requirements
• Strong communication skills. • Ability to contribute and work well with a team. • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and PE License • 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on hyperscale data centers or mission-critical facilities. • Proven ability to lead technical design efforts and support multidisciplinary teams. • Strong understanding of medium and low voltage systems, redundancy strategies, and commissioning practices. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent. • Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the technical authority for electrical systems on hyperscale and mission‑critical data center projects. • Shape and influence medium and low-voltage power distribution strategies, including campus distribution, switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, UPS systems, PDUs, RPPs, STS, and emergency power systems. • Develop and guide electrical system architectures that support reliability, scalability, maintainability, and uptime requirements. • Establish and support electrical design standards, basis of design narratives, and best practices across the data center practice. • Lead and perform technical QA/QC reviews, ensuring designs meet the highest standards for constructability, performance, and code compliance (NEC, NFPA, IEEE). • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align technical solutions with operational goals and redundancy strategies (N, N+1, 2N). • Support commissioning and field efforts by resolving complex technical challenges and system interactions. • Mentor and develop engineers, elevating technical capability across teams through guidance, review, and knowledge sharing. • Stay at the forefront of emerging data center technologies, power distribution trends, and mission‑critical design innovations. • Receive a competitive 401(k) match • Be empowered to build your career with tailored development paths • Have the possibility for flexible work arrangements • Engage in work that has a positive impact on communities • Participate in a wellness program promoting balanced lifestyles • In addition, full-time employees will receive our traditional benefits package (health care, vision, dental, paid time off, etc.) and the opportunity to participate in a bonus system that rewards performance.
