Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in a substantive policy role at a relevant technology or platform company. • Significant experience advising on technology, platform, product, or content-related policy issues. • Experience working within or closely alongside product teams and advising on decisions with regulatory, safety, reputational, or public-policy implications. • Demonstrated ability to translate complex policy and regulatory developments into practical recommendations for business and product leaders. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize multiple perspectives, identify tradeoffs, and develop clear recommendations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating complex issues to senior stakeholders. • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience partnering with Legal, Product, Communications, and other business teams. • Experience operating independently at a senior level and taking ownership of complex, ambiguous policy issues. • Experience at a major social media, consumer technology, or online platform company. • Experience with AI-related policy issues. • Experience working in government, regulatory, or other public-sector environments. • Legal training or experience working closely with legal teams. • Experience navigating policy issues that receive significant media or public attention.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Higgsfield's approach to policy across our products, platform, and broader business. • Advise leadership on complex policy questions and help establish clear principles and decision-making frameworks as the company scales. • Partner with Product, Legal, and other teams on decisions with policy, regulatory, safety, or reputational implications. • Bring a policy perspective to complex product and platform decisions and translate policy considerations into clear, actionable recommendations. • Monitor regulatory, technology, and platform-policy developments relevant to Higgsfield and advise internal stakeholders on potential impact. • Identify emerging policy risks and opportunities and help the company develop thoughtful positions and responses. • Partner closely with Legal, Product, Communications, and leadership to align on sensitive or complex policy matters. • Support Higgsfield's external policy positioning on issues that may attract regulatory, public, or media attention.
