Elastic - Principal Value Engineer

• 5+ years with client-facing roles in a technical environment • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in technology solutions • 5+ years of experience in value engineering, management consulting, or a related strategic customer-facing role within the enterprise software industry. • Expert knowledge and experience in change process management, search, observability, and security technologies preferred • Advanced knowledge and experience in value-based-selling methodologies. • Proven track record of building and delivering complex business cases to C-suite executives at global enterprises. • Expertise in identifying and prioritizing use cases, implementing improvement measures and becoming a change agent for Elastic customers by establishing a value delivery model. • Ability to project manage across multiple workstreams, including defining scope, expectations, timelines and delivery. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to act decisively with ambiguous guidance and circumstances • Ability to travel to meet clients is required (approximately 1x/month) • Preference towards high tech, manufacturing, retail, and financial services • Competence in financial modeling and ROI analysis • Demonstrated success in driving measurable value realization for enterprise/strategic clients • Track record of facilitating high-impact workshops that align client objectives with solutions • Experience in delivering successful presentations to C-suite executives, translating complex technical concepts into business value • Experience with business value assessment techniques • Additional Information - We Take Care of Our People: • As a distributed company, diversity drives our identity.
