Neuroscale AI - Founding Software Engineer • Typescript
Requirements
• Have 4+ years of experience building production-grade backend systems • Are highly proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, with deep knowledge of Node.js and NestJS • Have strong experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs • Are comfortable with PostgreSQL, Redis, and caching strategies • Know your way around Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control with Git • Value clean architecture, modular codebases, and well-structured data models • Thrive in a high-ownership, fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities • Experience building secure, scalable auth systems (OAuth2, SSO, etc.) • Familiarity with async patterns, workers, or event-driven systems (e.g., BullMQ, RabbitMQ) • Exposure to AI/ML tooling, vector databases, or real-time inference workloads • Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise-scale backend platforms
Responsibilities
• Developing software solutions using Typescript at Neuroscale AI. • Collaborating with engineering team members to design scalable systems for artificial intelligence applications. • Writing clean and maintainable code that adheres to best practices in TypeScript development. • Testing and debugging existing codebases as well as creating new functionalities within the project scope. • Participating in regular stand-up meetings with team members to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps for projects. • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends relevant to AI development using Typescript. • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers or new hires within the engineering department at Neuroscale AI. • Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, QA, and customer support, to ensure alignment of project goals and timelines. • Contributing actively in code reviews and providing constructive feedback on peers' work within the engineering team at Neuroscale AI. • Attending training sessions or webinars related to Typescript development for continuous learning and skill improvement.
