Heard - Bookkeeping Lead

• Lead and develop a team of offshore bookkeepers, driving high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement • Manage performance targets across quality, productivity, SLAs, and automation adoption • Optimize core workflows (month-end, payroll, onboarding, year-end) to improve efficiency and accuracy • Use data and reporting to identify trends, resolve bottlenecks, and elevate team performance • Manage BPO partner relationships to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery • Partner cross-functionally with Tax, Support, and Product to resolve complex issues and improve the customer experience • Increase automation adoption to reduce manual work and enable scalable growth • Maintain strong internal controls to protect accuracy, compliance, and customer trust • You may be a fit if • You have 5+ years in bookkeeping or accounting operations • You have 2+ years leading or mentoring team members • You possess a strong understanding of S-Corp and Sole-proprietor bookkeeping • You have experience working in a high-volume, tech-enabled services environment • You are data-driven; comfortable using dashboards and performance metrics • You poses strong process design and documentation skills • You are familiar with automation tools and workflow optimization • You have excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are a must
