Requirements
• Experience building enterprise software on macOS platform. • Ability to architect code for new features and proof of concepts as a Principal Engineer at Iru. • Understanding the differences between macOS and other Apple platforms with deep knowledge of relevant technologies specific to macOS, such as AppKit, Foundation, Core Graphics, and Core Animation frameworks. • Experience in complex concurrency management using OperationQueue and Grand Central Dispatch (preferred). • Strong technical communication skills for effective collaboration within distributed teams and across engineering counterparts on other projects at Iru. • Passion to lead the development of innovative features and products, with a focus on researching possibilities beyond past experiences.
Responsibilities
• Lead development and innovation on macOS platform with proprietary agent. • Deliver strategic business level objectives for Iru's research & development projects. • Create architectures to meet strategic goals that are flexible for future growth options without full clarity of the future direction. • Identify technology opportunities and rally organization behind these choices with clear technical vision. • Become an authority on team technologies, guiding other developers and informing business management. • Collaborate cross functionally with remote distributed teams. • Work closely with engineering counterparts to ensure consistent architecture across projects. • Drive quality by promoting modularized code that is testable, performant, easy to maintain, using multi-staged validation plans. • Design and deliver systems requiring research on possibilities beyond past experience.
