Pair Team - Senior Accountant

• BA/BS in Accounting • 4+ years of accounting experience ideally with some experience in a healthcare organization and/or high-growth startup • Experience working with GAAP accounting standards • Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems • Strong Accounts Payable expertise, including invoice processing, vendor management, purchasing workflows, and process development • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage projects and tasks • Experience supporting building processes, procedures, and workflows that enable sustainable business scaling • Ownership mindset – own driving results for the mission, business, and customer experience • Strong collaboration skills with thought partners from engineering, design, data science, and operations • Strong desire to work in an early stage startup environment that is fast paced, complex, and has minimal barriers to make decisions (no “red tape”) • Passion for helping individuals experiencing complex chronic needs such as homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorder • Experience working with healthcare organizations in MSO/PC structures • A CPA designation • Familiarity with healthcare financial models, including per-member-per-month (PMPM), Medicare reimbursement, and shared savings arrangementsExperience with modern accounting, payroll, and business intelligence tools such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Rillet, Rippling, Runway, Looker (or similar: Power BI, Tableau, etc.) • Proven track record of supporting an accounting ecosystem (Financial ERP or payable software) implementations • Prior experience working with external auditors • Our Values • Our Values • Lead with integrity: We keep our commitments and take responsibility for our actions.
