SmithRx - Senior Accountant

• In this role, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting, regular and ad-hoc financial reporting. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Own key areas of the month-end close process, including preparing complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses. • Assist in developing guidance on the accounting implications of new transactions and ensure compliance with US GAAP. • Assist in developing and designing our internal controls to improve the accuracy of our financial records and scale our processes. • Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memorandums and support drafting of footnotes and schedules for our financial statements. • Coordinate internal and external audit activities, serving as a key point of contact for auditors and managing the flow of information for selected accounting areas. • Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities to automate and streamline accounting workflows. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
