Flock - Software Engineering Manager
Requirements
• Proven track record leading, managing, or mentoring software engineers with a strong focus on team growth and constructive feedback. • Strong hands-on coding ability with TypeScript / Node.js for backend web services and modern frontend frameworks like React. • Solid SQL database experience and hands-on familiarity with cloud environments (AWS S3, API Gateway, SQS) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). • Strategic mindset with experience designing microservices, managing dependencies, and turning complex unknowns into actionable plans. • Practical comfort using modern AI-assisted engineering tools to optimize team velocity and personal development output.
Benefits
• In this role, you'll receive a starting salary between $200,000 – $220,000 + Flock Stock Options. (Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, and market indicators).
