• 5+ years of prior professional experience analysing crude oil markets, with deep familiarity with refinery operations, trading dynamics, and physical trade flows. • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline (Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or Energy Management). • Proven track record of independently researching, analysing, and writing clear, data-driven market commentary and insights. • Strong data analytics and quantitative skills, with demonstrated experience manipulating complex datasets to assess supply, demand, and refinery margins. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical market context to clients, media, and cross-functional teams. • Practical experience using Kpler cargo-tracking data, AIS platforms, or similar energy intelligence tools. • Working familiarity with data querying and analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or R. • Direct familiarity with Middle Eastern crude pricing benchmarks, national oil company (NOC) pricing structures, and regional refinery configurations. • We are a dynamic company dedicated to nurturing connections and innovating solutions to tackle market challenges head-on.
