Requirements
• 6+ years full stack experience building and scaling services in Ruby and JavaScript (ideally experienced in Typescript) • Strong in both Ruby on Rails and modern JS Web development • Design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices • Experience building and architecting microservices and distributed systems (deploying over AWS or GCP) • Write test suites and deploy using our CI/CD pipeline • Knowledge of database systems (Postgres) and SQL
Responsibilities
• Develop full stack Ruby on Rails applications for Acquird.io's products. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement product requirements using Agile methodologies like Scrum/Kanban. • Write clean, maintainable code that follows best practices in software development. • Test application features thoroughly before deployment ensuring robustness against bugs or errors. • Optimize performance of applications by profiling bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve speed and efficiency. • Maintain documentation for the project's architecture, design decisions, codebase, APIs, etc., facilitating knowledge transfer within teams. • Stay updated with latest Ruby on Rails updates/features and best practices in software development by attending relevant training sessions or webinars when necessary.
