Requirements
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including: Autoscaling and capacity management, Cluster-level behavior and lifecycle concerns, and Production debugging and incident response • Strong experience building and running Dockerized workloads • Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend services • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) • Experience designing and operating scalable backend systems in production • $130,000 - $160,000 a year
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript • Architect and evolve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) that drives dynamic Kubernetes scaling and orchestration • Build and maintain Docker-based deployment pipelines and runtime images • Design and optimize deployment and scaling strategies across many services and environments • Collaborate closely with engineering and DevOps to ensure systems are resilient, observable, and secure • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency • Document infrastructure patterns, operational workflows, and best practices • Stay current with emerging tools and approaches in cloud infrastructure and backend systems • Rights Under the Fair Chance Act: • Applicants are encouraged to inquire about their rights under the Fair Chance Act.
