Requirements
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent • 7+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership • Deep expertise in React/Next.js/Remix • Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services with Node.js/TypeScript/Kotlin • Experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD. • Experience with A/B testing/experimentation and modern MarTech tools (Segment, Optimizely, Mixpanel, Amplitude). • Our stance on salaries: • Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive. • The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $142,000- 210,000 • The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $142,000- 177,000
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of groundbreaking web experiences, translating mobile features to the web with world-class UX. • Drive technical strategy, define engineering standards/best practices, mentor engineers, and establish the technical vision for the web platform. • Manage technical debt, champion code quality, and lead architectural evolution. • Design, modify, and develop backend services that power web products, ensuring systems scale and championing system reliability, performance, and observability.
