GRAIL - Senior Software Engineer

• 2+ years of experience building and supporting software applications in a production environment. • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go. • Working knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, system design, testing, and debugging. • Experience working with backend services, distributed systems, or cloud-based applications. • Experience with version control systems and modern software development workflows. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively across functions. • Self-motivation, initiative, and an eagerness to learn new technologies. • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Experience working with AWS cloud services. • Exposure to AI tools, automation tools, or AI-assisted software development workflows. • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. • Experience working in agile software development environments. • Prior experience in healthcare, biotechnology, or another regulated environment. • The expected, full-time, annual base pay scale for this position is $136K-$180K. • This role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including an annual bonus and/or incentives, subject to the terms of the applicable plans and Company discretion. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications.
