Requirements
• You’ve led People in a startup / you are an operationally strong Senior People Partner who thrives when taking ownership to make a positive difference and you are now looking to step into your first Head of role • You know what it takes to build structure without slowing things down and feel confident setting priorities to unblock yourself. • You love building high-performance teams and you’ve got the scars (and wins) from doing it at pace. • You’re AI-native – you don’t just tolerate new tools, you grab them to supercharge how we hire, onboard and scale. • You’re organised and resilient, but never rigid – you flex as things shift, keeping an eye on both today’s fires and tomorrow’s growth. • You're an expert in UK employment law. Responsibilities
• This is a senior role partnering with leaders across the organisation. You’ll be the cultural and operational anchor – balancing day-to-day with the big shifts that come post-Series B: scaling, performance, and culture. • Partner with leaders and managers to keep your finger on the pulse – you’ll provide pragmatic advice, no fluff, grounded in best practice, operational excellence and a solid knowledge of employment law. • Coach managers to lead with impact. Focus intensely on building a feedback culture and enabling managers at Nory. • Within the fixed term period, you will be the second in command to the VP People & Talent and work alongside him to drive strategic People priorities: overhauling our Performance review process to be AI-enabled, defining our total rewards strategy and overseeing the implementation and roll out of our new global payroll system and HRIS, Rippling. • Oversee the full employee lifecycle and challenge the status quo - we are looking for someone who wants to drive continuous improvement and iterations to ensure the best possible employee experience. • Protect and grow our high-performance culture – outcomes clear, accountability strong, values lived. • Lean into supporting hiring processes and delivering on our H2 2026 workforce plan.
