Gelato - Head of FP&A
Requirements
• You are a strategic finance leader with a deep understanding of SaaS metrics and a passion for data-driven decision-making. You bring structure to the FP&A function and take pride in building scalable models that connect operational reality with financial performance. You are proactive, analytical, and a collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can align financial strategy with business objectives. • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in FP&A, ideally with a significant portion spent within a high-growth SaaS environment or a Big 4 accounting firm. • Education: Qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent) or MBA with a strong focus on finance and strategy. • AI & Automation: Proficiency or strong interest in AI tools and technologies (such as Gemini, Cursor, Python, n8n, or similar) to drive automated reporting and predictive analytics. • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate complex information clearly to investors and leadership. • What it's like to work at Gelato • We are a customer-obsessed team with the ambition to change the world by connecting technology to the printing industry and making it much more sustainable. Responsibilities
• The Head of FP&A drives the company’s financial strategy by owning the P&L for GelatoConnect and leading high-stakes investor reporting. This role integrates AI-powered analytics and automation to deliver real-time insights, sophisticated forecasting, and transparent financial narratives for stakeholders. You will partner with leadership to optimize profit margins and resource allocation, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the ecosystem. By automating complex consolidation and variance analysis, the Head of FP&A transforms raw data into strategic roadmaps, maintaining a rigorous reporting cadence that fuels long-term scalable growth based on the business model. • SaaS P&L Management: Take full ownership of the P&L for the SaaS business unit, driving margin expansion and optimizing resource allocation. • Revenue Funnel Mastery: Drive business decisions based on a deep understanding of the revenue funnel, with a primary focus on CARR and ARR growth. • Systems Integration: Build and maintain a seamless connection between Salesforce and financial models to ensure a "single source of truth" for all revenue and pipeline data. • Investor Reporting: Lead the preparation and delivery of high-quality investor reporting packages, translating complex data into a clear strategic narrative. • AI & Automation: Implement AI-powered forecasting and automated variance analysis to reduce manual work and increase the speed of business insights. • Strategic Partnership: Act as a key business partner to the leadership team, providing the modeling and analysis necessary to guide scaling decisions.
