Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in executive communications, public relations, content/brand storytelling, journalism, or a related writing-intensive role. In-house experience is a plus. • Ability to manage content across multiple executives, channels, and deadlines, without dropping the ball. • A storyteller's instinct: you can spot the narrative in a piece of news, a customer moment, or an executive's offhand idea, and turn it into content that resonates. • Excellent writing and messaging skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner. • Comfort operating with confidence around senior execs, including knowing when to push back or nudge them to keep things moving. • Proven success in cross-functional, highly collaborative roles. • Bonus: experience working in highly technical or developer-facing organizations. • On-Target Earnings: $127,650 - $161,000
Responsibilities
• Executive thought leadership content: Develop and write blog posts, bylines, video, and long-form pieces that build our executives' individual points of view and reputations in the security and open source communities. • Executive thought leadership content: • Customer thought leadership: Work with Chainguard customers to develop content that showcases their industry leadership and how they're using Chainguard. • Customer thought leadership: • Executive social presence: Manage and write social content for our executive team, turning ideas, moments, and company news into posts that sound authentically like each person. • Executive social presence: • Spokesperson prep: Shape narratives, talking points, and prep materials to help executives show up with a clear story at external engagements, such as podcasts, events, and webinars. • Spokesperson prep: • Narrative translation: Turn technical and strategic topics into stories that land with developer, security, and business audiences. • Narrative translation: • Cross-functional alignment: Work with Marketing, PR, and Events to make sure executive storytelling reinforces broader company narratives, launches, and campaigns. • Cross-functional alignment: • Content operations: Own the external content calendar for each executive you support, and manage the process end to end. • Content operations:
