Requirements
• Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance • 12+ years of professional experience in hardware product development • Full understanding of PCB Layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements • Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design • Familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB, etc • Familiarity with common MCU, CPU, FPGA devices and technologies • Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits • Ability to determine work priorities based on broad direction from management • Experience using Altium Designer or equivalent E-CAD tools • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others • Ability to work within our company and team culture • Understanding of MIL-STD-810 and relevant military environmental qualification standards • Understanding of MIL-STD-461 and relevant military electromagnetic compatibility standards
Responsibilities
• Work with a cross-functional team to design market leading hardware products • Drive product maturity through rapid prototyping, design verification, and qualification activities • Implement combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designs • Lead the team in establishing internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality fabrication and assembly outputs • Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews • Low level firmware development for bring-up and test • Root cause analysis in support of production operations • Work in a fast-paced environment, having to juggle multiple concurrent projects and customers
Benefits
• $191,000 - $253,000 USD • The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
