Drive cross-functional discussions to ensure new product launches and market entries align with risk appetite, operational capabilities, and local regulations. • Oversee Frameworks & Launches: • External & Strategic Alignment: Engage with external stakeholders, including merchants, vendors, and partners, to align practices, ensure compliance, and strengthen strategic relationships. • External & Strategic Alignment: • AI Leverage & Mentorship: Build repeatable AI-assisted workflows that compound across the team's analyses, while mentoring junior analysts on technical craft and domain nuances. • AI Leverage & Mentorship: • What We Look For • What We Look For • 2–5 years of proven experience in an analytically driven role within the consumer lending, credit, or fintech industry, specifically leveraging advanced analytics to develop and optimize business strategies. • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field. • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages. • Deep expertise in data mining, data visualization, and statistical modeling, with experience applying machine learning techniques to business or risk management problems. • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives that bridge Product, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to align analytical strategies with business objectives. • Strong understanding of consumer lending regulations, regional market dynamics, and the broader economic landscape influencing policy and growth. • Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory and economic insights into actionable strategies. • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions. • Pay Grade - KEquity Grade - 4 • Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).
