cloudtrucks - LTL Operations Specialist
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in LTL Freight, logistics, or transportation operations • Strong understanding of LTL carrier networks, pricing structures, and service levels • Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Google Workspace • Excellent communication skills — able to present data and recommendations to senior leadership clearly. • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated team player mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments • Experience with other service levels and modes - including white glove and full truckload • Familiarity with freight audit and payment processes. • Background in supply chain finance or transportation accounting.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage daily LTL shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries • Track and trace shipments, providing updates to customers and internal stakeholders • Monitor shipment performance and proactively resolve service failures before they impact customers. • Resolve exceptions such as delays, damages, or lost freight in a timely manner • Ensure accurate documentation, including bills of lading, proof of delivery, and other inspection documents when applicable • Audit carrier invoices for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and file billing disputes to ensure proper cost recovery. • Assist in process improvement initiatives and system optimizations
