Pixelmatters - Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Requirements
• At least 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong experience as a Full-Stack Engineer. • Proven expertise with NestJS and React, or similar JavaScript-based frameworks with the ability to make to make architectural decisions across front-end and back-end systems. • Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and engineering best practices. • Solid experience designing and building RESTful APIs. • Good knowledge of databases, including schema design, performance optimization, and data integrity practices (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis). • Experience optimizing data flow across the stack, including API design, caching strategies, and front-end rendering performance. • Good understanding of front-end architecture patterns, state management, performance optimization, and component-driven development in React. • Proficiency with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing across both front-end and back-end. • Strong experience with Git workflows and collaborative development in multi-branch environments. • Excellent understanding of English and Portuguese (written and spoken). • It would be awesome if you also have… • Experience managing GitHub repositories and governance (e.g., branch protection rules, code review policies, access control) is a plus. • Interest in Developer Experience (DevEx) and creating tools and platforms that make developers more productive • Previous expertise with .NET. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and cloud environments (AWS). • Experience with Docker and containerized applications. • Knowledge of system observability, structured logging, monitoring, and performance profiling tools. • Experience contributing to cross-project technical initiatives or architectural consistency. • Passion for improving internal standards and engineering practices.
Responsibilities
• Some of your day-to-day tasks will include designing scalable front-end and back-end architectures, developing and optimizing APIs, implementing complex UI components, defining database schemas, improving CI/CD pipelines, reviewing code, and proactively identifying performance, reliability, and security improvements across the system.Requirements

You will participate in technical discussions and help ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable. You will be involved in all stages of product development, from front-end implementation and API design to database modeling, infrastructure, and deployment workflows.
