Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience, including complex consumer product journeys and 0→1 product growth. • Experience formally managing or leading design teams. • Strong hands-on product design craft across UX, prototyping, visual design, mobile apps, and responsive web. • A portfolio showing D2C product design leadership, systems thinking, data-driven decision-making, high-quality execution, and measurable product impact. • Experience designing products where trust, comprehension, eligibility, pricing, access, personal data, or complex decision-making play a central role. • Experience with growth, onboarding, conversion, activation, retention, cross-sell, monetization, or lifecycle journeys, informed by research, data and experimentation. • A strong AI-native workflow and informed opinions on how AI can improve design quality, team capacity, and business value. • We’d especially love to see • Experience in healthcare, women’s health, telehealth, digital health, insurance, fintech, marketplaces, consumer subscriptions, or another regulated or trust-sensitive domain. • Experience designing products involving insurance, benefits, prescriptions, clinical eligibility, payments, care navigation, or personal health information. • Experience designing in a competitive direct-to-consumer category where acquisition, conversion, trust, differentiation, and retention all matter. • Location and working model • This is a remote role open to candidates based in the United States, with a strong preference for those based in San Francisco. • The base salary range for this role is $195,000-$230,000 per year. You will also be entitled to equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset. • Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, and remotely via San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week  (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C., we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend quarterly Work Together Days within these cities.
