Requirements
• Work with Imogen to modernize production legacy systems in collaboration with customers and partners • Own and manage backlogs for highly technical modernization efforts, including acceptance criteria and testing approaches • Balance long-term success with incremental progress through learning, risk mitigation, and iterative delivery • Provide clarity on tradeoffs between customer needs, team capacity, technical constraints, performance, and security • Facilitate effective decision-making across engineering, product, platform, and partner teams • Communicate clearly with internal leadership and client stakeholders on progress, risks, and milestones • Establish and maintain strong customer and partner relationships with alignment on priorities and outcomes • Shape delivery scope, sequencing, and success criteria to maximize long-term leverage through partner enablement and partner-led execution • Define and evolve Imogen usage patterns and delivery approaches that enable partners to deliver effectively with decreasing MO involvement over time • Serve as a bridge between Delivery and R&D by gathering requirements and driving priority alignment • This role is client-facing and partner-facing; communication, facilitation and collaboration are core parts of the work • This role includes regular domestic travel to client sites, up to approximately twice per month, to support delivery, alignment, and key milestones. • Much of the work involves legacy mainframe systems (e.g., COBOL, JCL) • PMs sometimes help manage on-call escalation and delivery coordination • Collaboration across time zones is part of the role, particularly with partners based in the US and India • The ideal candidate brings experience working in client-facing, delivery-oriented environments and is motivated by owning outcomes in complex, technical contexts. They are comfortable partnering closely with customers, SI partners, and delivery teams, navigating ambiguity, and balancing long-term strategy with the realities of execution, risk, and learning. • They have strong stakeholder management skills and can communicate clearly and confidently with audiences ranging from engineers to executive leadership. They are curious about deeply technical systems—even if they have not worked directly with mainframes before—and are eager to build fluency in both the Imogen platform and the legacy environments it modernizes. • They are enthusiastic about pragmatic, thoughtful use of AI and LLM-based tools, and interested in helping define effective patterns for their use in real-world delivery. They enjoy working closely with engineers and R&D teams, translating field learnings into product insights, and bringing clarity and focus to work that is often ambiguous and high stakes.
