Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the EPC or construction sector. • Demonstrated expertise in rental management and the purchasing of construction tools and equipment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, reporting, and cost analysis. • Foundational knowledge of accounting principles for invoice processing and budget management. • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines. • High level of self-motivation with the ability to thrive in a remote environment under little to no supervision. • Experience utilizing ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or specialized procurement management systems. • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Familiarity with contract negotiation and vendor performance evaluation. • Prior experience collaborating with international vendors or managing global supply chains. • Key Qualities • Anticipates supply chain bottlenecks and proactively develops contingency plans. • Maintains exceptional accuracy in purchase orders, budget forecasts, and financial records. • Exhibits clear, professional, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills when interacting with vendors and internal teams. • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and easily adjusts to shifting project requirements and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) budgets and project specifications. • Source, request, and evaluate competitive vendor quotes to ensure optimal pricing and quality standards. • Generate, process, and track purchase orders with a high degree of accuracy. • Manage vendor acknowledgments and streamline the invoice approval process. • Accelerate critical orders to meet strict project timelines and maintain an up-to-date expediting database. • Collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain Management to provide regular budget and forecast updates. • Oversee the purchase order close-out process and promptly resolve any invoice exceptions or discrepancies. • Coordinate & manage delivery schedules to ensure the on-time arrival of materials to project sites. • Maintain comprehensive vendor cost analysis data to support strategic purchasing decisions. • Develop and track key performance metrics to reduce expenses and improve the overall effectiveness of procurement services. • Ensure all procurement and purchasing activities comply with internal company policies and relevant industry regulations. • Conduct ongoing market research to identify new vendors, alternative material sources, and supply chain trends.
