Responsibilities

• Own the ground segment for the project • Define the architecture of the ground segment • Design and develop ground segment HW and SW tools • Ensure reliability through rigorous automated and manual testing • Document the ground segment tools • Procure all related HW and means for the ground segment • Validate the ground segment performances • Partner with testing and operations teams to understand and meet needs • Support test procedures definition • Support test operations • WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE FROM YOU • In the role of Ground Segment Engineer ideally, you will have the following: • 3+ years of experience in ground segment development for aerospace projects • Experience with development and testing of user-facing software applications • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language like C#, Java, or similar • Familiarity with aerospace telecommunication standards • Knowledge of backup systems, storage management, and recovery procedures • Experience with hardware integration and RF systems • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, networking, and application layers • Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is an asset
