Requirements

• We’re looking for candidates who bring both technical expertise and leadership potential: • A minimum of one year of engineering experience. • Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering or a related engineering field. • Possesses Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to contribute and work well with a team. • Solid interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Demonstrates the ability to diligently research applicable structural codes, standards, and regulations. • Knowledge in structural engineering technologies, such as Revit and structural analysis softwares. • Willingness to travel and work in field conditions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides structural design elements for federal engineering projects using fundamental knowledge of structural principles, standard techniques, and established methods for small to mid-sized projects. • Performs basic structural plan production and receives instructions for necessary tasks, including drafting and detailing structural components. • Develops and apply knowledge and experience working within structural design and modeling software, such as Revit, Risa, and other structural analysis tools. • Assist with project schedules, engineering calculations, and preparation of construction documents. • Coordinates with experienced structural engineers and designers on non-routine techniques and procedures to ensure compliance with codes and standards. • Gather research, recommend solutions, and create drafts of technical reports. • Mentor student interns by providing opportunities for developing basic structural engineering skills and knowledge. • May travel and work in various terrains and weather conditions at project sites in different stages of construction. • Receive a competitive 401(k) match • Be empowered to build your career with tailored development paths • Have the possibility for flexible work arrangements • Engage in work that has a positive impact on communities • Participate in a wellness program promoting balanced lifestyles • In addition, full-time employees will receive our traditional benefits package (health care, vision, dental, paid time off, etc.) and the opportunity to participate in a bonus system that rewards performance.
