Requirements

Responsibilities

• Plan and shape the news for millions of users by selecting compelling stories from various channels using journalistic judgment. • Manage breaking news events with urgency to keep Haystack’s platform updated on weekends. • Coordinate content featuring timely updates through partnerships during major news coverage periods. • Write targeted push notifications and create engaging social media posts, including polls and quizzes for audience interaction. • Produce compelling video content suitable for both the Haystack News platform and on camera appearances when necessary. • Support editorial planning to ensure special coverage of major news events is timely and impactful. • Engage in strategic digital channel usage across various platforms, including social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc., for audience growth purposes.
