lyrebird-health - Mobile Application Engineer
Requirements
• Strong experience in cross-platform development (React Native). Preferable to also have experience in Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin. • Hands-on experience with mobile audio capture, including background audio, interruption handling, and microphone permissions (for example AVAudioSession, AudioRecord, or MediaRecorder in a WebView) • Experience automating mobile builds and releases with tools such as Expo (EAS), Xcode Cloud, or Gradle, including code signing and phased rollouts on both stores • Confidence in TypeScript and the ability to read and change a SvelteKit web codebase • Experience with mobile test automation using Browserstack. • Experience integrating mobile apps with REST APIs • Experience with Progressive Web Apps, including service workers, web app manifests, and offline caching • Experience setting up mobile crash reporting and telemetry with Sentry or similar • A working knowledge of on-device data protection, such as encryption at rest and short data retention • Familiarity with Sveltkit and Typescript backend frameworks • Familiarity with AWS and Terraform • Experience building software for healthcare or other regulated environments • Every minute a clinician spends on admin is a minute taken away from a patient. Putting Lyrebird in a clinician’s pocket means it can be there on a ward round, in a community visit, or anywhere care actually happens. You’ll be building the foundation that makes that possible, and your work will be felt directly by clinicians and the patients in front of them. • We’re building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. If you’re from an underrepresented background in tech, we strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet every requirement.
