Requirements
• 15+ years of Enterprise Technology experience in sales and account management within a payments organization. • 5+ years of experience in managing teams and a measurable track record of developing a team of high performing AEs & AMs. • Experience selling complex, multi-product technology platform solutions to Enterprise customers. • Industry expertise in Payments, Retail, Fintech and Banking, with an ability to influence in complex situations. • Track record of delivering YoY new logo bookings and successfully expanding in-year revenue. • Typical Process • Typical Process • Application Submission • Recruiter phone call • Hiring manager video call • Virtual “Onsite” consisting of 3-4, 45 min Video Interviews
Responsibilities
• Manage a team tasked with solutioning new and novel financial products to F1000 organizations. • Grow Marqeta’s portfolio of largest and most strategic customers. • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for revenue targets and customer base expansion. • Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers in enterprise organizations. • Collaborate internally to align on customer needs and ensure satisfaction. • Maintain deep understanding of Marqeta's solutions and communicate value effectively. • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management. • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points for refining sales strategies. • Build a diverse, equitable, inclusive, high-performing sales team by influencing GTM strategy, hiring, structure, culture, and processes. • Drive cross-functional collaboration with partner teams globally in areas such as Vetting, Delivery, GNSO, Sales Strategy and Operations, Banking Partnerships.
