Ethos Life - Staff/Principal Product Designer, Partnerships

• At least 7 years of Product Design experience (10 years for Principal) • At least 2 years at a venture-funded, private startup required • For Principal level, at least 2 years in a role where you are influencing the work of others either through direct management or indirect leadership. • The majority of your experience is in-house working on direct-to-consumer products • You’ve worked in a high-velocity, experiment-driven environment • An understanding of when to use the design process and when to shortcut it. Your process has predictably excellent output • You can clearly articulate the reasoning behind your design decisions. Your work demonstrates intentionality and rigorous thinking • Demonstrated ability to measure the impact of your work and its impact on the business • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to move quickly while producing high-quality work, including interaction details, storytelling, visual polish, and content design • A track record of raising the bar for the design practices you have been a member of • Experience leading projects end-to-end, including discovery, problem definition, ideation, and validation, all the way through engineering implementation and measurement • Experience in launching 0-1 products, not just iterating on something that already exists • #LI-Hybrid • #LI-NG1 • Don’t meet every single requirement?
