Requirements

• Ability to understand technologies related to Data Center Control Systems such as Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM), ICT networking, and Security Systems are also required. • Demonstrated expertise in designing, programming and maintaining complex BMS Systems including energy and power monitoring of critical spaces. • Ability to comprehend, analyse and interpret complex project documents and to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to liaise effectively with vendors and communicate complex technical information with relevant authorities. • Good planning & prioritising skills, eye for quality details and goal oriented • Result oriented: Pro-active attitude with hands-on mentality • Risk aware; knows how to assess risks and how to communicate these risks to stakeholders • Proficient in data center commissioning standards • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal staff. • Location: Melbourne (Malaysia / Japan / Australia / APAC Countries) • Travel: Approximately 30% ~ 40% • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering field • At least ten years of experience in the management of building control, monitoring, and alarm systems for Data Centers. • A high level of operational knowledge of Chillers, Direct Exchange (DX) systems, Computer Room Air Handler (CRAH) /Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, dehumidifiers, water pumps, leak detection, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s), cooling towers, digital controls and Building Management System (BMS), and fire detection and suppression. • Extensive operational knowledge of Electrical Distribution; Switchgear, Transformers, Automatic Transfer Switch, Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), Static Transfer Switch (STS),Battery Management Systems, Generators, and Power Distribution Units (PDU’s) to the branch level. · • A forward planner who can work independently to identify and resolve project issues. • Experience working in a data center with hands on working experience of operational technology and OT vendors. • This might be right for you if: • Are passionate about project controls and optimization, process focused with a deep understanding for Development / Construction Project Scheduling. • You don’t get flustered easily. Responsibilities

• Design and Engineering • Work with internal key stakeholders to define business requirements and develop/update BMS/EPMS standards, reference architecture for Stack Infrastructure DC BMS/EPMS and DCIM platforms based on latest technologies trends. • Develop regional project trackers to map out ongoing BMS projects in each region and define which stage of each project is at. Ensuring that there is adequate OT/BMS support for each project. • Develops a standard playbook for BMS project delivery, allowing BMS vendors to understand clearly of Stack Infra project deliverables. This playbook should cover QA/QC requirements and include all system readiness requirements. • Works closely with OT Network/System engineering team members to ensure adequate network and computing provisions are made for BMS/EPMS system prior to handing over to critical operations team. • Developing reusable BMS templates and databases for BMS/EPMS system to improve project delivery lead times and quality from BMS vendors. • Introducing automation in daily operations via the usage of BMS/EPMS systems, i.e. working with technology partners to develop dashboards, reports to minimize risks and downtime. • Support commissioning team and to witness critical controls systems testing (CX) to ensure functionality and resilience of the control systems within the DC. Develop a standardized approach to for all commissioning process on critical control systems. • Be a point of escalation and provide guidance and direction to the site teams during incidents/events affecting site operation and implement new standards to reduce incidents. • Prepare User guides, conduct end user training, and address escalated operational concerns or enquiries. • Works closely with Engineering / Design teams to identify opportunities for all optimizations. • Collaborate in the continual development and refinement of our Project Delivery Playbook, Process, Tools/Platform and Basis of Design in conjunction with Stack Infra Engineering teams and the associated impact on construction/project schedules. • Budget and Vendor Management • Manages the External Vendors. Performs vendor selection for related services and products, manages vendor relationships and vendor performance reviews. • Implement company procurement procedures including managing projects, developing specifications, and analyzing total cost of ownership. • Yearly review of all BMS spending, preparing a new draft budget and submit to VP, Engineering – Operational Technology. • Operate in accordance with the STACK values, enabling a cohesive and positive working environment. • Establish and maintain close working relationships with the wider STACK team including the following: • Stakeholders at all levels of the STACK team. • Other remaining stakeholders include JV partners, consortia members, support consultants, contractors and suppliers. • Actively promote team members to maximize their performance and realize their potential through coaching and mentoring. • Actively promote teamwork within the team, local team and business. • Take accountability for driving achievements ensuring the results are in line with STACK business goals. • Foster open communication channels by keeping people informed of all changes and decisions that affect them, ensuring that all useful or relevant information is promptly and accurately communicated and shared. • Participate in work related team meetings and activities as required. • Excellent and effective communications skills, both orally and in writing
