Requirements

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations for nonprofit clients, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation • Assist with fund accounting, including tracking restricted and unrestricted funds and supporting grant and donor reporting • Prepare and review financial reports for internal use and client stakeholders • Support year-end processes, including audit preparation and coordinating requests with auditors • Assist with process improvements and help implement best practices across client engagements • Work within accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct) and support data accuracy and reporting needs • Communicate with clients to gather information, resolve basic issues, and provide status updates • Supervisory / Leadership Elements: • Review work of junior staff and provide guidance and feedback • Help manage timelines, deliverables, and priorities across engagements • Escalate complex accounting or client issues to Manager/Director level • Support onboarding of new clients and junior team members
