Baringa - Senior Manager, Data & AI Delivery Lead (Central Government)

• You’ll have led or contributed to senior delivery across government engagements that use data and AI to improve public value, policy delivery and operational effectiveness, such as citizen-facing digital services, secure data sharing across departments, casework and service optimisation, evidence-based policy and performance reporting, responsible AI adoption, or modern data platforms that support more joined-up, efficient public services. • You’ll bring 9+ years of consulting experience in Central Government, with the credibility to build long-term, trusted relationships with senior clients up to and including C-suite level, and the ability to align senior clients, sector leaders, account teams and multidisciplinary delivery teams around a shared agenda • You'll bring experience leading large teams through complex data and AI programmes, with clear ownership of delivery quality, governance, risk management, team performance and client outcomes • You’ll be a lifelong learner, able to demonstrate a clear drive to keep developing your skills and stay current in a fast-moving AI landscape. You’ll be passionate, entrepreneurial and excited by how data can solve complex client problems • You’ll lead from the front and role model the behaviours you expect from your team, mentoring and supporting junior colleagues as they develop their careers • You’ll have a track record of account growth, sales support, opportunity shaping and programme delivery, with strong commercial acumen across propositions, team shaping, delivery risks, margin and client value. • You’ll have deep expertise across data, analytics and AI strategy, including operating models, governance, data management, business adoption and value realisation. You’ll also bring a broad understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies and AI-enabled business transformation, and be able to explain how these capabilities create value in an industry context. • You’ll work with clients to understand and frame their business problems, assess their current state, and identify, shape and deliver data, analytics and AI use cases from strategy through implementation. You’ll balance business value, technical feasibility and delivery complexity, making practical recommendations that help shape clients’ thinking. • Even better if: • You may have a recognised profile in Central Government, with experience building market presence through client networks, industry events, publications, partnerships or thought leadership • You may also bring experience leading large-scale digital or data transformation programmes from strategy through delivery • You may have hands-on or advisory expertise in AWS, Azure, AI, advanced analytics or related modern data technologies • You may have contributed to products, propositions, accelerators, market strategy or thought leadership that help build a distinctive market presence • What a career at Baringa will give you • Putting People First. • Baringa is a People First company and wellbeing is at the forefront of our culture.
