Stripe - Partner Development Manager, Global Financial Institutions & Stablecoins
Requirements
• We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. • 15+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development, strategic finance, treasury, or a related field, including ownership of complex, high-impact external partnerships • Demonstrated ability to independently set partnership strategy, influence senior executives, and drive cross-functional alignment on ambiguous, high-stakes company priorities • Track record of structuring, negotiating, and managing high-value, multi-year partnerships with material strategic, financial, product, operational, or regulatory implications • Deep experience working with financial institutions or infrastructure providers, such as banks, exchanges, asset managers, market makers, liquidity providers, payments companies, or stablecoin ecosystem participants • Strong commercial judgment and experience leading both commercial and technical partnership conversations with senior internal and external stakeholders • Experience in stablecoins, crypto, card issuing, or stablecoin-linked card programs • Experience developing partnership strategy across multiple markets or partner types • Experience representing a company with industry groups, at conferences, or with senior external executives • Experience mentoring or guiding peers on partnership strategy, complex negotiations, or cross-functional execution • In-office expectations • Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.
