Reblade - Software Team Lead
Requirements
• 8+ years of professional software development experience • Proven experience leading software teams and coordinating distributed developers • Strong background in embedded systems, robotics software, or hardware-integrated software systems • Experience designing and maintaining complex software architectures • Experience with hardware-software integration and sensor-driven systems • Strong debugging and system troubleshooting capabilities• Experience with frameworks such as ArduPilot, ROS2, or similar systems • Experience working in robotics, automation, or autonomous systems • Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams • Excellent communication skills in an international team environment • A pragmatic mindset focused on building systems that work in the real world • Nice-to-Have • Experience with UAV systems or robotics platforms • Experience leading teams in fast-moving product development environments
Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the on-site and remote software engineering team • Own the software architecture and ensure system stability and scalability • Guide development across embedded systems, robotics software, and supporting software components • Ensure high standards in code quality, version control, testing, and documentation • Work closely with hardware, robotics, and testing teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration • Identify technical risks early and lead system-level troubleshooting when needed • Plan development priorities and coordinate delivery across the team • Mentor engineers and help grow technical capability within the team • Support system debugging during development and field-testing phases • Drive efficient development practices that keep the team moving fast without unnecessary bureaucracy
