Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field. • 7+ years of healthcare data, analytics, informatics, or consulting experience. • Previous hands-on experience implementing or supporting the OMOP Common Data Model (CDM). • Demonstrated experience leading healthcare data initiatives in a project manager, program manager, engagement manager, or advisory capacity. • Strong understanding of healthcare data architecture, clinical terminologies, and data standardization. • Experience leading cross-functional teams across business and technical stakeholders. • Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills. • Experience with the OHDSI ecosystem and OMOP implementation methodologies. • Prior consulting experience within healthcare organizations or professional services firms. • Familiarity with Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Meditech, or other enterprise healthcare platforms. • Experience supporting real-world evidence (RWE), clinical research, or population health initiatives. • PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certification preferred. • Experience leading enterprise-scale data modernization or interoperability initiatives. • Hourly range: $100-$125. The hourly range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor for OMOP CDM implementation efforts. • Provide strategic guidance on OMOP architecture, data modeling, governance, and implementation best practices. • Partner with client leadership, technical teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to drive successful project execution. • Review and advise on ETL strategies, source-to-target mappings, and data transformation approaches developed by technical teams. • Facilitate project planning, risk management, issue resolution, and executive communications. • Ensure implementations align with OMOP CDM standards, OHDSI best practices, and organizational objectives. • Lead design discussions and provide recommendations around healthcare data standardization and interoperability. • Review data quality metrics and implementation progress, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions. • Coordinate across clinical, analytics, research, and IT teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. • Mentor technical resources and provide guidance without performing day-to-day development work. • Support executive steering committees by presenting project status, risks, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps.
