Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager / Product Manager in technical or data-driven environments. • Strong technical background, with the ability to engage deeply in discussions with engineering teams. • Solid understanding of data platforms, analytics, and reporting systems. • Ability to write and validate SQL queries. • Familiarity with ETL concepts, data pipelines, and downstream data consumers. • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and system integrations. • Experience working with BI tools or data warehouses (Snowflake or similar). • Strong backlog management, requirement definition, and prioritization skills. • Comfortable working in fast-paced discovery environments with ambiguity. • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). • Background as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or data-focused engineer turned PM. • Experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms. • Strong opinions about data modeling, reporting standards, and analytics best practices. • Experience working in early-stage or undefined-solution projects. • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum environments as a Product Owner or TPM. • Team & Environment: • Small, senior cross-functional team focused on discovery and early product definition. • Extremely close collaboration with engineers and architects. • Strong emphasis on data quality, report hygiene, and consumer-driven analytics. • Lightweight process, high autonomy, and strong ownership mindset. • Team & Environment:

Responsibilities

• Helping define requirements and understand all technical and data-related moving parts. • Own the product backlog: write clear and well-structured tickets, ensure board hygiene, and keep priorities aligned with business goals. • Act as a technical Product Manager, working closely with engineers on architecture, data flows, and implementation trade-offs. • Deeply understand and discuss data pipelines, ETL processes, and data consumer use cases. • Write and review SQL queries to validate data, support analysis, and ensure accuracy of reports. • Ensure good RESTful API practices and proper integration between backend services, data platforms, and consumers. • Be a power user of data platforms and BI/reporting tools, with strong opinions about report quality, consistency, and usability. • Represent the needs of data consumers and ensure reporting delivers clear, reliable, and actionable insights.
